Loved everything about this place. Staff were all very friendly (even Freddy himself came over to check on us a couple of times). I had the falafel wrap and my friend had the perch tacos which were all great. Patio furniture was comfortable and the place was clean. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area.

Loved this cute little space! We had a vintage cookbook on our table which was so fun to comb through while we waited. It also was incredibly clean. Windowsills didn't have dust, washrooms were spotless and it all felt very cared for. The service was next level! We have two young kids but didn't feel like they were a burden at all. We felt incredibly welcomed and got lots of tips about how to have the best experience at Point Pelee after we finished lunch. The food was good - met my expectations for a small restaurant in a tiny little town! Kids meals were huge and they ate the leftovers as a second meal which was awesome! We also purchased some take home beers and Caesars and will report back with our reviews of those once we've had them!

Oh my goodness! From the moment we walked in, Michael greeted us warmly, showed us to a cozy table, chatted about our time in Point Pelee National Park, and gave us great menu recommendations. Make no mistake, this is not a “cheap” lunch. But you get what you pay for - and the pan fried perch at Freddy’s is transcendent. The best I’ve ever had. My husband enjoyed the delightfully spicy blackened perch tacos and a house brewed IPA. Awesome. We will be back - and I will be dreaming about that perch until we return. Thank you, Michael and family :) - Rachel & Bruce

Honestly one of the best experiences grabbing food with the family in a very long time. If you’re out on the go and looking to grab lunch definitely go here. The steak on a bun was ridiculously good. Way better than I even expected and the hospitality was amazing.

From the time we got to the door it was an incredibly welcoming environment. Our server was friendly, the food was absolutely delicious! The best part of the experience was speaking to the owners, having them come by to ensure our experience was going well. We sat out on the patio for lunch - perfect day with a cool breeze. I had the blackened perch tacos, small but don’t let the size fool you, they are full of flavor my wife had the chicken kebab wrap, this thing was huge but cooked to perfection. Highly recommend you try their in-house made craft beer, The Drive. Great summer blonde ale for a hot day. Will visit again! Thank you Rob and everyone else for the fantastic experience for myself and family!

On a trip from BC, a desire to introduce my kids to Lake Perch led us to Freddy's Restaurant in Leamington. It was AWESOME. 7:30 pm found us as the only customers, at sunset in a great atmosphere being treated royally with delicious food and drink perfectly prepared. Definitely would go again next time we are in town. Highly recommend.
